Atid Khuntasi (Tee 2)

Tee 2 (we call Tee 2 because we have another Tee) is the only son of his parents. His father’s name is Autai. His mother’s name is unknown. They lived in Trad in a small hut made from scrap. His mother died of complications related to AIDS.

Tee 2 lived with his father. Around June of 2005 his father died of complications related to AIDS. Tee was then living alone in the hut. His neighbors reported this to the Trad welfare department and asked them to help the child. Then Trad welfare department sent Tee2 to Rayong emergency home.

During this time Tee 2 often had a fever and cough. Then they sent  Tee 2 to check  his health at the Maptaphut Hospital. Tee was diagnosed with HIV / AIDS and tuberculosis. Then the MaptaphutHospital sent Tee 2 to Rayong Hospital to receive the medicines and start ARV treatment.

But Tee2 couldn’t get his medicine every day because nobody took care of him. And Tee 2 often had to wear the clothes of his friends. He couldn’t take care of himself; he needed a home and a family.

So the Rayong emergency home asked Fr. Giovanni to help the child. And accommodate him with the children in the CSC family.

Now Tee 2 has adjusted to his new home at the Center.  He plays well with all the children and enjoys learning at the CSC school. He was a little slow to settle in at first but now he is happy and cooperative.
